Richard Christie & Mike Baxter had close tussles with Tim Widdop & Tony Burrows, then with Bob Sandie & Rob Ross, while Rob Christie & Robert Whitehorn found the going rather hard playing against adults. Craig Baxter filled in for Tony Burrows at the turn.
