After 4 days of competition at St Paul's Ashley & Anthony justified their Nr 1 seeding by beating the St Paul's 1st pair (on their home courts) 11-5, 2-11, 12-10 to win the National U16 (Colts) Doubles championship. They saved one match point at 8-10, then Ashley hit four consecutive winners. They have won a magnificent solid silver trophy (the largest in the sport!) and individual tankards. In the Singles Anthony got to the last 8, Ashley to the semi-finals, both losing narrowly to the top St. Paul's players. They returned home bruised and sore but very chuffed.
