...where they lost to the overwhelming favorites from Blundell's. Their opponents en route to the Final were Tonbridge, Whitgift, Winchester and St. Paul's (the second favorites) who they beat convincingly, playing their best Fives of the day. It was Matt's second Final in a fortnight, having won the U13 Doubles previously with Robert Whitehorn. Rob Christie also got to the Final of the Singles Plate, where he lost narrowly to an opponent from Sedbergh.
